   Practical test

 

Candidates to be observed both as batters and bowler s umpire in an organised match. To pass they must score no E and no more than 2 D’s. Tester should ask 2-3 oral questions about situations that did not arise in the match

 

 

   Theory test

NRA written test - 1 hour

   Notification

 

Tester marks written test and sends papers and one copy of assessment form to National Office, the other copy to the candidate

 

 

   Successful Candidates

 

Receive a certificate and are registered free for 1 year receiving all mailings. They are then invited to renew their registration.  At registration renewal they are sent a log card and information on progression to National status.
