Westfield Sports College, SOUTH YORKSHIRE
SATURDAY 26th & SUNDAY 27th APRIL 2008
The England Rounders Squads commenced their 2008 season with a training event at Westfield Sports College, South Yorkshire. The conditions were excellent for rounders, sunny and breezy on Saturday and warm and damp Sunday . The April weather throughout the weekend was outstanding however the umpires suffered from sunburn.
Saturday 26th saw the U13 senior and development squads; U14 senior and development squads; and U15 senior and development squads take to the field. The day saw three training games then an all out competition game of the relevant age group's senior and development squads face each other. The Vice President of the NRA Mr Terry Woolhouse MBE was in attendance to view the proceedings and to present trophies.

Sunday 27th saw the U16 senior & development squads, U17, U18, U21 and Adults in action. Again playing three training games and an all out competition game. The Vice President of the NRA Mr Terry Woolhouse MBE was in attendance to view the proceedings and to present trophies.
