The course and its delivery are expected to satisfy the demands of quality assurance and meet the needs of the participants. This course is for those who want to gain a National Governing Body award enabling them to assist in coaching rounders. It is the first step on the coaching pathway. The course is mainly practical, covering the basic skills involved in the game of rounders. These skills are then implemented using small sided games. The NRA simplified rules are studied briefly in a short theory session. Objective: The course will develop your experience and expertise in rounders and will enable you to assist an intermediate coach to guide players on how best to make use of their existing skills, how to correct basic technical faults and how to start to use tactical play Entrance: 14 years of age minimum. Preferably with some coaching/playing experience.
